PSATC Regions

EAST

The Eastern Region of PSATC brings together First Class Townships from across southeastern Pennsylvania, creating a strong network of local leaders working to share ideas, solve challenges, and stay informed.

Beyond PSATC membership, townships in this region have the added benefit of connecting at the local level through the Montgomery County First Class Township Association and the Delaware County First Class Township Association. CENTRAL

The Central Region of PSATC comprises the Southcentral segment of the Commonwealth including the Capitol Region, Lancaster, York, Berks, Lebanon, the Lehigh Valley, Pocono, Northeastern and Central sections of Pennsylvania.

Central Region News & Events
On Sunday, January 11, 2026, Commissioners from around the Central Region of PSATC were hosted by Hampden Township at its Municipal Services Center. The region reorganized and elected its slate of officers for 2026.

    WEST

    The Western Region of PSATC comprises the Western section of the Commonwealth, including the Allegheny, Butler, Erie, and Southwestern Pennsylvania areas.

    In addition to their eligibility to be a part of PSATC, the First-Class Townships in this region can also be active members of the Allegheny County and Western Pennsylvania Association of Township Commissioners organization.  AC & WPATC partners with the Allegheny League of Municipalities (ALOM) to deliver programming and educational activities to its member municipalities.

    West Region News & Events

    Township officials in Allegheny County recently took part in the 2026 ALOM Conference at Seven Springs. It was held from April 9th to 12th. Guest Speakers included DA Stephen Zappala, Pittsburgh Mayor Corey O’Connor, and panel discussions from County Council and some State Representatives.

    AC & WPATC will have its next conference on October 23-24, 2026, at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh-Cranberry.

    In other news, the new $1.7 billion terminal at the Pittsburgh International Airport officially opened in November 2025. The new facility features a consolidated checkpoint, updated parking, and many other new features.
